Treatment with Antibiotics
The goal of treatment is to cure the infection with antibiotics. Streptomycin and tetracycline are commonly used to treat this infection( injected into a muscle or vein)
-gentamicin, doxycycline, and ciprofloxacin are also antibiotic options, but are used much less frequently (oral)
